QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
Ability to perform essential functions of this position
Ability to possess a firearm
Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Clear and concise speech
Valid Driver's license
Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
No domestic abuse convictions
No felony convictions
React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
U.S. citizen
Applicants must be at least 21 years old

60 college credits / Associate's Degree

JOB TITLE: Part-Time Reserve Officer

HOURS: Various shift assignments day, evening, weekends
PAY:
$12.00 per hour for parade duty.
$12.00 per hour for special event and crowd control functions
Training and ride-along duty not-compensated.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Attend training as set forth by the Department
Attend department meetings
Direct traffic for parade and car show events
Perform foot patrols and crowd control functions
Volunteer for a minimum 1 four-hour ride-along per month

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be 21 years old
High school diploma
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
No Felony Convictions
Possess a strong community oriented service philosophy
Self-motived
Ability to promote a positive image in performing community related Police support functions
Good physical condition
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
Ability to work varying shift assignments
Possess good oral and written communication skills
Written application, oral interview, background investigation
Health and psychological screening
