Dispatcher Recognition Week

The week of April 10th through April 16th, 2022 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. The City of Jefferson Police Department is very proud of our dispatching staff who do far more than just dispatch. Our dispatchers serve as clerks and administrative assistants to all of our officers. They do a great job for our citizens day in and day out.

City of Jefferson Mayor Dale Opperman did a Mayoral Proclamation at the last City of Jefferson Council meeting held on April 6th, 2022 honoring our great dispatch team.

Our dispatchers are: Dispatch Supervisor Leigh-Anne Hauser, Dispatchers Kelly Cuevas, Katie Chapman and Terri Heinz. We are very fortunate to have such a great team in place.

We would also like to recognize the great work of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Telecommunicators team who dispatches for us when our dispatchers are off-duty. Another great team we are privileged to serve with and do a great job not just for City of Jefferson residents but all Jefferson County residents. A heartfelt thank you to the Jefferson County Dispatchers as well!
