UTV/ATV riders must follow all traffic laws, adhere to the posted speed limit, be 16 or older, and register their UTV/ATV with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. No riding of UTV/ATVs on sidewalks is permitted. Check City Ordinance dictating all laws pertaining to UTV/ATV operation within the City limits here.
City of Jefferson Officers have all been trained in enforcement facets of UTV/ATV operation on roadways. We strongly encourage all riders to follow the routes and laws regarding UTV/ATV operation within the City of Jefferson. Routes shall be closed during the car show weekends. As that event approaches we will put out a reminder of said closures.
