JOB TITLE: Reserve Police Officer


HOURS: Various shift assignments day and evening. PAY:

‐ $12.00 per hour for parade duty.

‐ $12.00 per hour for special event and crowd control functions

‐ Training and ride‐along duty not compensated.



‐ Attend training as set forth by the Department

‐ Attend department meetings

‐ Direct traffic for parade and car show events

‐ Perform foot patrols and crowd control functions

‐ Volunteer for a minimum 1 four‐hour ride‐along per month



‐ Applicants must be 21 years old

‐ High school diploma

‐ Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License

‐ No Felony Convictions

‐ Possess a strong community oriented service philosophy

‐ Self‐motived

‐ Ability to promote a positive image in performing community related Police support functions

‐ Good physical condition

‐ Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time

‐ Ability to work varying shift assignments

‐ Possess good oral and written communication skills

‐ Written application, oral interview, background investigation

‐ Health and psychological screening
